ABSTRACT

In this paper, the occupant response from dummies of two different commercial finite element codes is compared with that from an experimental seat drop tower test. Thc 50th percentile Hybrid III dummy model from LS-DYNA and MADYMO software is used along with a ShockRidc®'s mine blast attenuation seat. The entirc seating system is modeled using LS-DYNA explicit finitc clement code.
