ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we inspect the concept of critical cleaning as a process by focusing on speci©c case study applications in electronics, aerospace, and medical devices. “Why clean?” is a question that must be answered by anyone with the responsibility of manufacturing any object. If the answer is “to clean,” there are a myriad of process and product choices that must be addressed to e£ectively and reliably produce the product.
