ABSTRACT

It has been confirmed that properties of polymer materials are encoded on structure molecular level. The impact toughness of blends poly(ethylene terephthalate)/poly(butylene terephthalate) (PET/PBT) is controlled by macromolecular coils interactions, which are reflected by their structure fractal dimension. It has been shown that interaction parameter defines fracture type of the indicated blends.
