ABSTRACT

In 2005, China attracted the world’s attention by issuing the

Renewable Energy Law, which put wind, solar energy, biomass energy, etc., in an unprecedented role in the national energy strategy.

This is the first time that the solar photovoltaic (PV) industry began

to gather real attention from the market and to start an entirely

different way in China. Prior to this milestone, solar PV production

was considered too expensive to be afforded as the commercial

power supply sources.
