ABSTRACT
Most of the disciplines that contribute to the field of toxicology determine whether a chemical has an adverse effect on an organism, and characterize any effects observed, sometimes to the molecular level. Pharmacokinetics is concerned with predicting the concentration of a toxic or pharmacologically active substance in the blood and tissues of the exposed/treated animal.
