ABSTRACT
Burn injuries present great metabolic, immunologic, and mechanical challenges to the human body. Additionally, burn injuries are associatedwith a variety of complications (Table 1). In this chapter, we will discuss the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of many of these associated complications.
