ABSTRACT
Sensor networks have become an important source of information with numerous real life applications. Existing networks are used for monitoring several physical phenomena such as contamination level in soil and water, climate, building structure, habitat, and so on, potentially in remote harsh environments [17,24]. Ÿey also found several interesting applications in industrial engineering and inventory management such as monitoring the quality of perishable food items, as well as transportation and tra«c control [1,23].
