ABSTRACT

As overall program manager for the massive, multiyear project of building and opening a new specialty hospital, Susan Voltz was called upon to help spearhead transformative change. This meant ensuring that the experience and outcome of the project were meaningful for her team members, stakeholders, and the parents and children served by the new facility. Such an experience can lead to transformation and required Susan and her colleague Elizabeth Allen to align their personal aspirations, needs, insight, and leadership.
