ABSTRACT

Compositions obtained ultrafine powders based on low-density polyethylene, a modified natural polymer chitosan under the combined influence of high pressures and shear deformation. Studied their sorption properties and susceptibility to biodegradation. The resulting samples of polymer films based on low-density polyethylene modified chitosan having acceptable strength characteristics, good absorbent capacity and biodegradability can be used for manufacturing biodegradable packaging materials.
