ABSTRACT
In 1983 audiences at the first North American Music Manufacturers show in Los Angeles were amazed when two electronic instruments from different companies were connected together. Only one of the instruments was being played, but listeners were hearing both instruments. This demonstration introduced MIDI to the world.
