ABSTRACT

Bistline and co-workers [4] report the use of ultraviolet (UV) spectral techniques to determine the imidazoline content of imidazoline-diamide mixtures. They determined the height of the peak at 230 nm of a 0.01% ethanolic solution compared to the height of the diamide peak at 202 nm. They even reported a calibration curve for these compounds and claimed to be able to quantify imidazoline down to 1 ppm and diamide down to 10 ppb.
