ABSTRACT
Most of the therapeutic applications for synthetic oligodeoxynucleotides (ODN) and oligoribonucleotides (ORN) relate to the role of DNA as the genetic blueprint, and to mechanisms of manipulating gene expression based on Watson-Crick base pairing to endogenous nucleic acids.
