Head Injury and Protection

Head injury is common in all forms of accident trauma. Surveys carried out on aircraft accidents have shown that 40  per cent of injuries sustained are craniofacial, and 14-20 per cent of all fatalities resulting from aircraft crashes are due to serious head injury.
