ABSTRACT
The Oxford English Dictionary (2013) defines medication as ‘a drug or other form of medicine that is used to treat or prevent disease’. Therefore, in the broadest sense, medication includes prescription only and over the counter drugs, traditional herbal medicines and homeopathic remedies.
