ABSTRACT
Aer skin cancers, breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed malignancy in women in the United States, with a one-ineight lifetime risk.1 e American Cancer Society estimates that, in 2009, 192,370 women were diagnosed with invasive breast cancer and a further 62,280 with ductal carcinoma in situ. It is expected that 40,170 of these women will die of the disease.2
