ABSTRACT
A24S09G with grouting was reached its yield strength eMy at θ = 0.004 rad which was smaller than the specimens without grouting. The specimen exhibited elasto-plastic type restoring force characteristics up to θ = 0.09 rad. No cracks were observed in foundation concrete in all specimens. From the results, we found that the proposed column-base exhibited elastoplastic type restoring force characteristics regardless of grouting or non grouting.
