ABSTRACT
Hazard has been defined as “a threatening event, or the probability of occurrence of a potential damaging phenomenon within a given time period and area” (DHA, 1992). It can be seen that “hazard” and “disaster” have similar definitions. In this perspective,Water Related Natural Disaster is an event in which water is the cause or consequence, when the impact is on the water, of the disaster.
