ABSTRACT

We live in a constantly changing world. What we perceive with our senses are processes, states and events that happen or exist in the real world. They may be natural or man-made, and we call them real world phenomena. In our brains, we process the input from our senses, which leads to mental models, learning, cognition and knowledge. Everything that happens in the real world and that we process through our senses leads to models of reality. Usually, we agree on common principles and interpretations derived from experience, cultural background and research or learning that enable us to reach a consensus on the perception of real world phenomena.
