Chirp pulse excitation in the impedance spectroscopy of dynamic subjects—Signal modelling in time and frequency domain
ABSTRACT: Wideband excitation enables to perform the fast spectroscopy, that is, to cover a wide frequency range during a short time interval. It extends the measurement system to provide spectral information matched with the dynamics of the subject under study. Power spectrum of the chirp pulse excitation covers nearly the same frequency range in despite of different duration of pulses in time. The paper describes the results of the study of spectral properties of chirp signals depending on their duration.
