Repair of concrete members of seaside apartment buildings deteriorated by steel corrosion

CASTx+ is a two component aqueous alkaline (pH 12,7) alumo-silicate/polymer composite paint for the active cathodic corrosion protection of reinforcing steel in concrete. The alumo-silicate component forms the proprietary micro capillary matrix that assures high adhesion to the concrete at current loads up to 30 mA/m2 and up to 70 mA/m2 for short periods.
