ABSTRACT
The capillary suction tests lasted 24 hours. There was significant difference between the heated samples and the unheated samples in weight change rate. Water appears on the upper surface of most of the heated test samples before 2 hours, whereas it took almost 24 hours until all of the unheated samples displayed wetted areas on the top surface. The water absorption coefficients, Aw, are shown in Figure 1.
