ABSTRACT

An important component to the management of any process is the measurement of key parameters, which in turn are used to monitor, control and provide the feedback necessary to improve the process. Any “optimization” (or improvement) of blasting should not only look at the blast itself, but also to all consequences of blasting results. These considerations lead to overall-integrated concept. It is obvious that such approach not only provides data for blasting improvement, but will also be helpful for improvement of all other operations as well.
