ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: This paper analyses the present conditions of the level and quality of groundwater in Chaobai riverAlluvial Fan, and the relation of groundwater level and quality. It refers that the decline of water level owning to over-exploitation is the main factor of groundwater quality deterioration in the middle and upper reaches of Chaobai river alluvial fan, and that control of over-exploitation of groundwater and pollution of surface water. Meanwhile, the use of South-to-North water to recharge groundwater and reduce mining is a good way to restore water resources and environment.
