ABSTRACT
English is the most widely used language in the international communication nowadays. As the globalization develops, translation is the important media between China and the outside world. Many companies require graduates who are good at the professional skills as well as translation in English. The college English course should pay more attention to the translation teaching assisted by the multimedia and the Internet.
