ABSTRACT
Nowadays, when quality education is advocated, individualized teaching is one of the topics which aroused great interest both in the educational theory and its practice. Based on the educational reforms in recent years, College English is the course which could be taught in the multimedia and network environment in most universities. However, the traditional teaching strategies are still taking up too much time in class, which causes many students lack of interest and curiosity. According to the Multiple Intelligences Theory, teachers could apply many effective teaching strategies with the multimedia and network to improve the teaching effect.
