ABSTRACT
Conceptually CBR is commonly described by the CBR-cycle which comprises four activities: retrieve, reuse, revise and retain [8]. Among that, retrieve plays a key role because it directly affects the efficiency and quality of CBR [9]. Nearest Neighbor techniques are perhaps the most widely used technology in the procedure of retrieve. The similarity of the target case to a case in the case-library for each case attribute is determined. This measure may be multiplied by a weighting factor [10]. That factor led to the research of this paper. The target of this paper is determining the weighting factor of the case attribute.
