ABSTRACT

Electronic government is one of the most interesting concepts in the field of public administration in recent years as it greatly improves the convenience and accessibility of government services and information to citizens. The term e-government is also used to describe the “use of information technology to support government operations, engage citizens, and provide government services”. There is still no universally accepted definition of e-government. These concepts noted above are generally centred on the fundamental premise roles that information and communication technologies play in making government services more accessible, more relevant to citizens, more customer-focused, and more responsive to citizens’ needs. e-government implementation promotes major innovations in the utilization of Information communication technology to the government operation, management, and its activities organization.
