ABSTRACT

The RGB signals of the camera is the integral value obtained from the optical radiation energy on the photoreceptor and camera spectral response function interaction, which is a set of linear data. But in the practical use of digital camera, the signal by the CCD or CMOS photoelectric conversion must experience a series of transmission and compression, and be output to the display device finally, such the RGB signals has become non-linear data. So in order to get an accurate spectral reconstruction effect, making the spectrum from the reconstruction of digital signal and from the spectrum instrument measuring as accurately as possible, it is necessary to convert the digital camera signal acquisited from the image back to linear RGB values, that is making linear correction of the camera digital signals. in the Page Setup dialog box (File menu) see Table 1.
