ABSTRACT

In this study, we present a least-square control method to research the optimal tracking control problem of a linear discrete system with timedelays. Firstly, we transform this optimal tracking control problem into a least square dynamic programming problem. Secondly, according to the least square theory to solve differential equations, we get the least-square optimal tracking control law and minimum-energy optimal tracking control law by {1,3}-inverse and M-P inverse matrices. And then, the estimation method of minimal tracking errors are given. Lastly, a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness and the feasibility of the method.
