ABSTRACT

As the indicator in the state of regional development, the urban-rural spatial structure is the function of the regional development, and the spatial clustering scale and form made by the socio-economic objects’ spatial interaction (Bell & Irwin, 2002; Herold, Couclelis & Clarke, 2005). So it is of great significance to study the spatial structure pattern of the urban-rural system for the urbanrural planning and sustainable development. The study of the urban-rural spatial structure pattern and their inter-influence on the basin determines the efficient use of water resources and sustainable development of social economy (Troy, Morgan Grove & O’Neil-Dunne, 2012; Van Landeghem, Meyer, Cox, Sharma & Patiño, 2012; Wear, Turner & Naiman, 1998; Wong, Harner, Liu & Diamond, 2004).
