1 INTRODUCTION
In order to extract energy from the ocean waves, a large variety of concepts are available and most of the wave energy is obtained due to the rising and falling of the free surface waves. The devices available for the extraction of wave energy require to be exposed to the incoming waves and a proper placement of the device is important and needs to be installed at the shoreline. The wave energy is in general extracted through the reaction forces between two or more bodies and this is one of the biggest design challenges (see Guedes Soares et al. 2012).
