ABSTRACT
Nowadays, a wide variety of wave energy conversion technologies are available. Recent reviews identified about one hundred projects at different levels of development (Falcão, 2010). However, only a few concepts are able to take advantage of the wave kinetic energy. Falnes (2007) and Falcão (2010) present a comprehensive review on wave energy utilization, supporting theories and the main technologies developed.
