ABSTRACT

There have been a number of Structural Reliability Methods (SRM) that were developed and mostly applied to evaluate the safety level of the oil & gas offshore structures. The studies covering these applications are given by Madsen et al. (1987), Thoft-Christensen & Sorensen (1987), Moan (1994), Faber et al. (2005)). On the other hand, there are only few studies so far for the structural reliability of the OWT support structure accounting for the damage, inspection and repair. Most of the initial work was addressed to the modelling and loads.
