ABSTRACT

The concept of measuring static and stagnation pressure comes as a result of the energy conservation law, which bonds pressure and velocity and provides to the engineers a useful tool to measure either of these properties on the basis on the other (Robinson, Butterfiald, Curtis & Thompson 2004). Usually the quantity of interest is velocity vector, but its direct measurement in a specific point of a field encounters difficulties and suffers from inaccuracies. On the other hand pressure measurements can be performed directly with relative simple instrumentation.
