ABSTRACT
It is known that the kinetics of desorption of methane, namely gas emission speed, in many respects depends on degree of a fracturing of coal. The last, in turn, is caused by influence of tectonic forces owing to which action coal is exposed to mechanical destruction with formation of a significant number of the fine powder fractions. Therefore, the knowledge of kinetics of stripping processes of coal is one of components of recognition of zones of tectonic faults of layer, including it is possible and in the form of sharp change of power of layer.
