Ways to achieve the optimal schedule of the mining mode of double subbench mining

The width of initial cut on each level and its cross section area will be different during double subbench technology usage and if structure of mineral deposit is difficult (Raksihev et al. 2013). The transport berms are provided in each part of mine until pit gets its final depth (Figure 1). The length of initial cut on each level should provide sufficient volume of accessed ore reserves with a minimum amount of stripping operations. Axis position of the initial cut base on the first level depends on ensuring a uniform distribution of accessed reserves on both highwalls until the final depth is reached and stripping volumes minimization until the final contours is reached.
