ABSTRACT

The experience economy has impacted the development of all walks of life. There is a natural inner correlation between MICE tourism and experience economy due to characteristics of tourism products. MICE tourism is an economic phenomenon growing with the development of exhibition industry, relying on the good environment of exhibition development. It is a new type of tourism activities conducted during or after the exhibition, with tourism resources as the complement. Four basic types of MICE tourism include conference tourism, exhibitions, incentive travel and festival tourism. Taking exhibition projects and tourism resources as attractions, MICE tourism satisfies the demand of participants or exhibitors in exhibition activities and tourism activities, with the starting point of creating unique experience of consumption. The comprehensive degree of experience in MICE tourism is influenced by many factors, including atmosphere of exhibition scene, conference scene, uniqueness of incentive travel, local culture, supports of local people experience,

1.1 Meaning of experience economy

Experience economy is the economic form that enterprise creates series of consumers-centered activities to satisfy consumers’ requirements of personal experience and validation in experience period. Positive effect can be formed after meeting consumers’ psychological demand, thus promoting the long-term development of enterprise [1].
