The subjects participating in this study are 145 grade 2012 students of 6 different non-English majors in Guilin Institute of Tourism. They are randomly chosen. There are 69 male students and 76 female students among them. The subjects major in Tourism Management, Marketing, Hotel Management, Travel Agency Management, Dance for Tourism, and Flight Attendant Service. Before they fill in the the questionnaire, they take an oral English exam, which aims to test their tourism professional oral English ability.
