ABSTRACT
One-way traffic refers to the traffic of vehicles travelling in one direction on the road. As an effective urban transport organization, it makes the vehicles travelling in one direction, reducing the interference of vehicles in opposite direction, makes the vehicles in opposite direction round to the other roads, equilibrating the traffics. The increase of travel speed not only improves the efficiency of energy utilization, but also reduces the carbon emissions. If the entrance lanes are to one-way traffic instead, the parking frequency at intersection will be reduced and the air pollution caused by automobile exhausts will be improved.
