ABSTRACT
Concerning many psychological issues, the purpose of landscape design is meeting people’s needs for ideal living environment to achieve a harmonious relation between human and habitation. Therefore, during landscape design, the relation among nature, society and human should be balanced at a harmony status, which is the process of pursuit in practice. In current China, living, residential and environmental problems are relatively serious. With the developing industrial civilization, problems of habitation pollution, heavy population and imbalanced ecological environment are the inevitable result of industrial development. Thus the priority of landscape design in China is alleviating the citizens’ anxiety by offering peace and support with the aesthetic value. By utilizing the environment effectively, more people will be attracted to enjoy the beautiful scenery in their habitation. The landscape design can further inspire people’s aesthetic
1 INTRODUCTION
Urban landscape design covers the work in a lot of fields, such as road project, construction project, park design, square design, lighting technology, and forestation planning. During the rapid development of urban landscape, deficiencies exist in the aesthetic design including utilitarian purpose in ecological landscape, missing humanism aesthetics and natural aesthetics in urban landscape, leading to homoplasy in the lack of artistic aesthetic in urban landscape design [1]. Therefore, the design of urban landscape should be adjusted in spatial planning and aesthetic idea to meet people’s demands of landscape design.
