ABSTRACT
In fact, pile foundation is one of the underground structures, therefore many geotechnical problems predicted during the development of the Megacities. One of these problems is the time dependent behavior of the pile foundation which possibly caused by the lateral load. The lateral load usually results from the near new building or any large near civil engineering projects as well as the other normal sources of lateral load. Time dependent analysis of the structure has been limited because of complexity of the time dependent interaction between the soil and structure (Taiebat & Carter, 2001; Small & Liu, 2008). In cities where high rise buildings are closed together, lateral load must be considered as the most important factor in analysis and design of pile foundation.
