Developing children’s narrative writing using story structures

Following her work through the EXEL Project (see Chapter 10), Maureen Lewis addressed the concerns expressed by primary practitioners over children’s ability to write stories. In this chapter, Lewis describes some of the ways in which she worked with colleagues in supporting young writers of fiction.
