ABSTRACT
All the selections in this book address aspects of information management. The chapters in this section describe trends related to the information itself and different ways to manage it. Organizations have a growing range of options for managing supply chain information. They include data warehousing, E-commerce alternatives, and applications service providers (ASPs). Effective management of information in a supply chain environment will increase the need for IS staff to work effectively with other supply chain partner organizations.
