Voting Security in Social Media

Social networks are websites on the Internet with a common ownership. e members of social networks have some privacy, with some information being available for selected people but blocked for others. e security problem is a very complex issue in social networks. eft of personal data and intrusion into pro¥le pages are recorded in large numbers. Researchers and developers are therefore looking for ways to protect these data. e biggest problem is how to protect the voting in social networks from the risk of penetration. e most important risks in voting are votes that are stolen by candidates or those obtained by creating fake votes. In this chapter, we develop a fast and accurate process for checking the social network voting data. is method will compare the votes cast by voters with those obtained by candidates with the use of algorithms to detect any stolen or fake votes [1].
