ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses significant research advances till 2018 on physiological basis of cotton growth and productivity. It discusses various factors affecting cotton growth and productivity starting from germination and seedling establishment, vegetative growth, and flowering, fruiting and yields. Besides, it discusses various manipulation techniques used to determine their influence on cotton growth and productivity.
