ABSTRACT

An attack has been mounted and successfully carried out against the centralist structures, whose tough, unbending joists held together the states immense expanses, supported the inordinate weight of the outlying areas, and made possible the concentration of colossal potential at times of crisis. The Party, disconnected from power, deprived of a world view, and cast into philosophical chaos, is being held answerable for the failures of the past and for the present crisis; it is being sold out to fomented public hysteria and removed before very eyes from the political arena. The crisis of 1917 occurred against the backdrop of worldwide crisis and destruction. The destruction of centralism, and of the state along with it, is occurring in accordance with a proven algorithm, as if the entire program had been entered on a computer punch card and the sequence of operations—their rate of execution and timing—were the result of rational efforts based on an immense potential.
