ABSTRACT

Technology-enhanced learning (TEL) has become, to some extent, a mantra that is invoked whenever technology is involved in the learning process, whether it is the acquisition of computer skills or the use of learning management systems or smart devices in the learning process. Educational researchers have focused on TEL from different dimensions, such as (i) analysing the acquisition of specific skills in the use of technology; (ii) analysing ways to promote learning through technology; (iii) analysing how the use of technology affects learning outcomes; (iv) analysing the place and role of innovative technological solutions in the learning process; (v) analysing the pedagogical strategies to be used in TEL; and (vi) analysing future visions from a TEL perspective.
