ABSTRACT

The objective of this chapter is to address the magnetohydrodynamics mixed convection flow past an exponential stretching surface with convective boundary condition through mathematical as well as statistical approaches. An incompressible non-Newtonian fluid named as third-grade fluid is considered. Constitutive relations of thermodynamically compatible third-grade fluid are used for problem development. The correlation coefficients for the skin friction and Nusselt number are computed and used to calculate the probable error. The main objective of this chapter is to analyze the influence of various physical parameters on the velocity and temperature profiles. It is analyzed that the temperature profile increases with an increase in magnetic parameter M. It extends the people study to the various consequences of pertinent parameters on the considered problem.
