ABSTRACT
Political crime is a major concerning and alarming issue in the present situation of Bangladesh, and it hampers the sustainability of the country. Victimization or violent demonstration has occurred due to the demand for release of the accused in the war crimes trial committed by the Jamaat-e-Islami and Islamic Chhattra Shibir that increases political crime. The people of Bangladesh learned to grow and survive from the political aggression and suppression of the Pakistani ruling party, both military and civil. Political crime is one of the burning and concerning issues not only for Bangladesh but also for the whole world. Political crime means the type of crime which is committed for fulfilling political purposes such as establishing political power on behalf of a political leader or their supporters, especially for gaining state power.
