ABSTRACT
Technology has rapidly developed in Indonesia from time to time. Technology is one important element for the development of a country, and many new technologies are available that improve the quality of human life, and that have in fact become integral to it. Sunlight also brings various benefits to human life, and curtains have an important role in controlling the amount of sunlight that enters a room. Curtains also maintain house occupants’ privacy, and the utilization of technology for such household purposes is now greatly necessary. One solution is to design and implement smart curtain automation using NodeMCU. A curtain will automatically open when it detects sunlight and close in the dark. In addition, users can open and close the curtains from a distance by utilizing a Wi-Fi connection with an Android smartphone.
